happy easter

a letter jenny told me to proof read but i was too busy with other things.

jenny likes her jeans

yesterday jenny told me she didnt want to go to a party our family were going to
i thought she was crazy because what kind of kid doesnt like going out?
jenny told me she knew her mum wont let her wear her denim jeans
i told her just go wear whatever she wanted to
after changing, her mum yells at her

her mum: why are you wearing that? change back into your dress
jenny: but i dont want to, i like this
her mum: you! youre such a tomboy! all the other girls wear dresses
jenny: but i like this
her mum: you always wear that though! you have plenty of other clothes to wear. youre such a tomboy! youre exactly like a boy! dont come then, stay home!
(jenny starts to cry)
her mum: you always wear the same thing, youre going to a party, everyones going to look at you
jenny: i dont want to go anymore.
(runs upstairs heartbroken)
her mum: get down here now and change your clothes!

i dont know what happened next because i was in the middle of falling asleep after finishing work but i know she went to the party.

i kind of feel sorry for her at that moment.
jenny is not a tomboy, she just felt more comfy in jeans than a dress that day because she wanted to run around with the other kids if she were to go.
she usually likes to dress her mood, and she felt like wearing jeans so i dont see why she just cant wear them.

spreading christmas cheer

time and place: approx 10:30pm, johnnys apartment
what: jenny writing a last minute letter to santa,
walks out to the lounge room and asks johnny

jenny: johnny do you have anything for santa's reindeers?
johnny: err no?
jenny: (opens fridge) bread?
johnny: nah its a bit old
jenny: um ok, what do i give them then?
kim: (from johnny's room) jenny just give them water,
theyll probably be thirsty anyway.
jenny: (closes fridge) ok! (runs back to johnnys room)

she'd already given santa water because we didnt have any milk or cookies.


the next day
jenny: kim! kim! look!
santa and his reindeers drank all the water!
kim: oh wow! they must have been thirsty.

she knows what she wants

throughout the whole year,
jenny has consistently hinted she wanted a nintendo ds

everytime the dsi ad appears,
she'd turn around and smile
followed by me replying "no, youre not getting it"
and when asked what she wanted for her birthday
she cunningly tries to describe a ds
"something rectangular shaped like this
(uses index fingers to draw a small rectangle)
with a pen thingy and you can play games on it"
lol, as describe by jenny

so for her birthday i bought myself a portable hard drive
and wrapped it up and gave it to jenny to open
she opened it and i asked if it was exactly what she wanted
she looked at me with a "wth" kind of face
and nicely replied "yes" with a slightly forced smile

after a couple of minutes of johnny going
"wow a hard drive!",
tommy chuckling to himself,
and the blank stares on her friends faces,
we gave her the dsi

she likes it very much!
its an even better present because she expected a ds
but instead got a dsi
so now she can post her pictures on facebook! haha

anyways i thought it was hilarious
when jenny was telling me what she thought that hard drive was
she thought it was that
"black box you plug blue wires into"
(she was trying to explain a modem) AHAHHAHA

so moral to the story:
persistence pays off
(or so we believe it should)

remote control

one of the reasons why i love my little sister..
she puts the remote control near my pillow
when she goes out during the day
so when i wake up
i dont have to frantically get up and look for it like a mad woman.

mister maker

remember art attack?
well mister maker is its substitute
jenny loves watching it

yesterday she tried to make a guitar from a container
by wrapping elastic bands around them
but she only found one elastic band.. haha
single stringed guitar = one chord..

we were watching mr squiggle on youtube just then as well
and the strings on him were extremely noticeable..
i wonder why i never saw them as a kid.

who try and act cute and seek attention
and over do everything
like eating messily in public
and rub her face with her oily hands before she puts her hair behind her ears
and then when you tell her to stop trying to be cute
she says in her practised whiny high pitched voice "im not trying to be cute"

and i hate it when they dont listen to you
like how you ban them eating in your room
and when you come home you find bowls on the floor
the smell of kebabs in your room
and worse is when jenny spills her drink on my floor
and she tries to cover it with my little stool
which i usually place in front of my sewing machine
and then still have the cup lying on the floor
and i smell the scent of lemonade
and when i ask her what the drink was
she blatantly lies to me and tells me its water ??
WATER? WATER? THEN WHY IS MY FLOOR SOOOO STICKY???

i hate liars hate hate hate!
and i hate it most when i know theyre lying to my face
or secretly hiding something from me
because i will find out!

LOL

i was just importing photos of the dolls ive made so far
though most of you have seen them by now
but im posting them up anyway
and in the "pictures" file i found these weird files
named "JENNY LOVES GOD, JESUS", "JENNY LOVES JESUS" and "KIM LOVES JESUS"
and i laughed sooo hard because this is what jenny names her paint files lol
jennys so strangely in love with god, jesus and the bible
i dont know whether to say anything or not
just wait until she finds out shes not catholic or christian o_0
but i guess its cute of her to be so devoted to a religion

did you know?

today my sister told me to remember john simpson tomorrow because of ANZAC DAY
and i didnt really care about what she was saying
but i kept talking to her anyway
and pretended to sound interested

and then she taught me what ANZAC stood for
Australia New Zealand Army Corpse
and i was so interested because i never thought it even stood for anything
anzac day to me is just a public holiday
where we ought to get double pay for working
but unfortunately at my workplace we dont receive benefits!
so its depressing to know that tommorow ill be receiving standard pay =(
i swear they never taught us that in primary school!

dear diary

i havent bloggged since rye
because i dont have time
so heres jennys diary that she started on sunday
shes even got faces for her moods during the day
i think its the funniest thing ever !
its sooooo cute!
but i can never say that to her face


jenny likes "two and a half men" - funniest typo ever!

johnny's birthday dinner

so the birthday dinner was only a little awkward
but it wasnt because of me!
(see i dont always make things akward)

anyways what happened was
jenny was mumbling in her cup
and then everyone was looking at her
all cute and stuff cos she loves the attention
and then she laughs and goes "do you know what i said?"
and then of course we didnt
and she tells us
"i said (all giggly and stuff) johnny's girlfriend is fat"
and cracks up laughing

now i kinda wanted to laugh cos jenny is always so honest
but so rude at the same time
and i had that "omg i cant believe you said that look"
(i know i need to punch her out but she's already missing two teeth)
so i was kind of smiley but gave her a "thats rude" stare
and johnny goes "Liesel isnt fat"
and the poor girl doesnt say anything looking all awkward
and then it occurred to me..
"oh no what happens if she thought that i said that she was fat!!"
(which i didnt! jenny is just brutally honest just like her mum)
and then i told jenny off
and said "jenny thats not very nice to say
(and not denying that she is a bit big as well)
say sorry to Liesel"
so jenny was like "SORRY" sarcastically like
"no im really not sorry but i have to say it" kind of way
and then i go "JENNY say it properly"
so second time round she sounded more sincere with a
"sorry liesel"
and liesel didnt say anything or maybe she didnt hear
cos she had stopped looking at jenny by that time
